Azizah Kahera has lived in the Middle East and has traveled extensively throughout Australia, Africa, Europe, and the Middle East. Ms. Kahera has been featured on CNN, the Atlanta Interfaith Broadcasters, and in the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.  Azizah served for over 15 years as the Chief Operations Officer for Azizah magazine, the vehicle for the voice of Muslim American women – a publication that portrays their experiences and shatters commonly held stereotypes. Formerly employed by Delta and the Center for Disease Control, Azizah has a strong background in operations management, business development, and community development.  A graduate of Rutgers University, Ms. Kahera has served as an Advisory board member for the My World Global Citizenship for Teens and the Inner-City Muslim Action Network Atlanta Chapter. She is an independent consultant with a focus on the community.  She currently serves as a Racial Equity Consultant for the Resident Leaders for Equity program an initiative of the Partnership for Southern Equity.  Azizah's passion is home decorating and her motto is "learn how to fall in love with your home again".
