Description
Today’s movie is The Fabelmans directed by Steven Spielberg. There’s a lot to like about The Fabelmans, even though it feels like the screenplay is trying to bring the movie down. Spielberg’s reflections on his life as a filmmaker and artist are filled with remarkable self-awareness and a lot of wisdom, and if you can manage to ignore about half of the dialogue this is a pretty great movie. We’ll be back next week for the final movie of the month, Oppenheimer! This is a public episode.
