Anthropologically Fascinating
10 years from now this may very well be a key text to understanding how the American tech sector came to embrace some truly heinous reactionary views and became a loyal ally of the authoritarian “new right.” Come for the half-cooked grand unified theories of science, medicine, and political philosophy, stay for casual denigration of minorities and trans people, fawning tributes to authoritarian regimes, and mocking dismissal of any commentary on the turn towards exclusionist white chauvinism in American politics.
