YOU DOWN WITH IEP… YOU DOWN WITH IEP!!!
Ok hear me out everything in my body and mind has never prep me enough until you hear these beautiful mamas give you all your pointers on ways to be ready for your child’s first IEP…I wrote down many notes I scared myself… my song just Finished ABA and was discharged from speech because he was no longer medically in need of speech… now In September he entered Kindergarten without having an IEP, I went back and forth with the actual schools he’s attending and the school district the run around bc it was summer and nothing was open!!! Blah blah But seriously listen to this pod cast getting IEP for our children shouldn’t be hard or scary it should be welcoming and accepting …. WE ARE THEIR VOICE, ADVOCATE for them because they need us!!! Every podcast here is full of support and information reminding us special needs parents we’re not alone and that our kids will not get use to the real world… because their world is much more than tests and numbers… everything around them is new and triggering!!! Hence my kids school mascot, he’s terrified of it, and refuses to go when it shows up!!!! But love love these women!!!
