“So glad I found this show. My son was just diagnosed with Autsim Spectrum Disorder and he turns 3 this Thanksgiving. I just started listening to these episodes and I am relating so much to all of you women. I have heard the comments “he’ll be fine, everyone has some level of autism,” “he seems too high functioning and looks like any normal kid,” and “it’s ok. He will be fine. Don’t worry” and it’s made me feel that my feelings, thoughts, and fears are not valid. This show has helped me with navigating this new diagnosis. I am slowly working through the 5 stages of denial. This podcast helps me feel less alone and more understood than I’ve felt since his diagnosis. Thank you so much for sharing. I feel as though I’ve found a community where we belong.”
