“This is very interesting. I like the fact that you are taking your own issues and using your podcast as a vessel to work through them. Love the interaction and mutual respect that you and Sydney have for each other. I have a suggestion for a topic. So many people label black women as "angry" why do you think this is so? I was watching a video of a mother go into a store and curse out the clerks for asking her children if they were going trick or treating because they were wearing African attire. While I would have been upset about the comment too, I think I would have chosen the high road and told my kids that some people are just ignorant. But when I said that in a room of mothers they looked at me like I was crazy. I just feel you need to pick and choose your battles. What are your thoughts?
