I Like It
This is very interesting. I like the fact that you are taking your own issues and using your podcast as a vessel to work through them. Love the interaction and mutual respect that you and Sydney have for each other. I have a suggestion for a topic. So many people label black women as "angry" why do you think this is so? I was watching a video of a mother go into a store and curse out the clerks for asking her children if they were going trick or treating because they were wearing African attire. While I would have been upset about the comment too, I think I would have chosen the high road and told my kids that some people are just ignorant. But when I said that in a room of mothers they looked at me like I was crazy. I just feel you need to pick and choose your battles. What are your thoughts? Sorry this is so long, but I didn't know of another way to get my question to you. Keep up the good work.

In my opinion Mo comes off as lost and damaged person. I think Mo has some "daddy issues" and past hurt from men that has damaged her. She talks a good game but the truth kept speaking out. I love your podcast. I've followed Monique's career for many years and enjoy both she and Sidney's perspective on relavent issues from elected officials to gay issues to the real Hollywood. Keep the podcasts coming....I love it.
