Cut the personal story
I do not understand why I am supposed to care about the narrator... The true crime portions are great, but the cliché bits about insomnia are so hamfisted it makes it painful to listen. It feels like a weird mix of a true crime podcast and a fictional story.. How are you going to keep this up for multiple episodes? Seek treatment for your insomnia and cut it out of the podcast! Get some rest.

I heard an ad for this podcast on another true crime podcast that I so far love so I decided to give this one a try. I started the first episode and I sort of lost interest throughout it. It’s just not the podcast for me. Thank you!

Meh
The stories are interesting but the narrators personal story of being an “insomniac” are super misplaced and odd, it doesn’t flow at all with the story and actually ruins it. The content could be so compelling but the voice of host plus painfully slow pace (along with anecdotes of insomnia) make for an unsuccessful storytelling recipe.
