Only one complaint
I have listened to every single episode and even subscribed on YouTube. I love this podcast. One issue I have showed up a lot in episode about Jerrod Murray. The insanity defense is not ONLY that you don’t know thy e difference between right and wrong. It’s also the understanding of it due to a psychiatric illness. In this case Jerrod was on the spectrum and those with Autism/Asperger’s in most cases, lack the ability to understand why something is the way it is. They know they shouldn’t do something, they just don’t understand why. This is why it’s hard for me them in Social interactions. As a daughter with Autism I can see how the insanity defense could hold weight, especially given the severity of his aspergers. Of course this does mot excuse his actions, it is a reason for them though. He is still a danger to society. Just please read up on the insanity defense, because it’s not so black and white.

I love how this show is straight to the point and well told!! The little bits of sarcasm are great and are usually what I’m thinking in my head while listening. Even if it’s a murder story I’ve heard well before, I’ll still tune in to hear the This Is Monsters rendition!
