Catherine actually grew up in the church, where she oscillated between a legalistic mindset trying to earn salvation through works OR a more lukewarm mindset of hyper-grace where she saw sin as no big deal.     Because of a more cessationist upbringing that denied the healing and power of God for today, she was tempted back to the world over and over again throughout her teenage and college years, never truly surrendering to the Lord until 2019 when she then discovered her spiritual gift of exhortation.
