Fantastic, immersive storytelling
If all you want is the audio version of what you might see on a subject in the dullest and worst version of a history book, Lillian Cunningham’s style is not for you. But if you want to learn about history the way that your favorite history teacher or professor explained it, complete with all of the fascinating side-stories that contextualize the key events, then her shows are definitely what you are looking for. Her previous podcasts, Presidential and Constitutional were fantastic, and Moonrise has left me in suspense already despite the fact that I have listened to several podcasts recently on the Apollo project, including an entire series about it. Cunningham approaches the subject from a unique angle, and I am excited to see where the show goes from here.

Hard to listen to, painfully slow, skip the first episode for sure.
