“Based on the first episode, I want to give the show 4 stars. However, I’m putting 5 stars here because I support the Daily Wire and I really like all their podcasts. I liked the brevity of the most the up-to-date / important current events—that part was done well. The reason that I personally think it’s more on a 4-star level right now is because I didn’t feel much liveliness from the crew. I understand that it’s not supposed to be a “Walsh-ian” or “Knowles-ean” type show, but the reporting seemed a little too scripted for my taste. I appreciate the fact that I can be confident I’m receiving unbiased and factual reporting, so if the podcast crew can shift to a little more casual tone (rather than what sounds sometimes like a deadpan reading of a script), then I think this show will be a staple of many people’s DW podcast rotations. They just need to be more organic and not be afraid to add in some opinionated overtones here and there!”
