“There is a reason why so many are opting out of evangelicalism. Unrelenting power structures, systematic objectification of women, millions and millions of dollars wasted on buildings and staff while the widows and the orphans go unnoticed. It’s almost as if the “church” has become a ‘let’s do the Sunday machine for the Sunday machines sake’ and ignore what the gospel actually is and what the Jesus movement actually is.
All that to be said this podcast and the decisions it has made perfectly lines up with the the reasons why evangelicalism will not be the method God chooses to bring fourth his kingdom. In the coming generations.
Everyone needs to wake up and see that the reformed evangelical faith tradition is a poisoned fruit and needs to be avoided. Jesus turned tables for far less. This mockery has gone on too long.”
