At last a podcast from Parkinson’s which I feel I can relate to.
I am 57 and was diagnosed age 39. Over this time, I have experienced most of the symptoms you have all described but, have overcome or learnt to live life with them with the aid of both the medications and more importantly self help with diet, exercise and other holistic activities. I’m single and live alone but, have a wonderful friend group and with their support still live each day to its full albeit my life is very different to that I imagined for myself all those year’s ago. I hope that with good wit, you will truly open up the world of Parkinson’s as it is so misunderstood. With all your professional credentials I feel that this podcast will not only be popular with “Parkinson’s People” but will attract many diverse followers which will hopefully widen the awareness and in turn increase the funding required to research this extremely complicated condition.
