Physio
Thanks for the podcast. In my area we have a physio who specialises in neurological conditions. For those recently diagnosed with Parkinson’s she gives us a 10 week programme of exercise and education in conjunction with our local Parkinson’s UK group. We then have a gym induction and weekly physio support at the gym. We get exercise and friendship rolled into one. The difference this has made is immense.

One episode listened to and this series has great expectations. A funny and interesting insight into ‘suffering from this disease’. Future episodes to have Parkinson’s docs and other great guests. The members are honest and direct. Very definitely recommended.

Diagnosed 5 years ago, good to hear others talk about the differing symptoms! Some friends and family seem to doubt my diagnoses because I don’t seem to tremor enough for them! That’s what people assume Parkinson’s = tremor. Looking forward to the other issues you plan to cover. Graham

Thanks for this insightful and irreverent take on PD. I love listening to the ups and downs that the group experiences as it really helps me put my PD in perspective. Each week I join you in spirit in the pub. Cheers
