Engaging Podcast with a Broad Focus
Rather than taking an exclusionary stance of only looking at obscure genre films, Movie Meltdown has cast a more broad net in their reviews and discussions. They even take on Hollywood rumors and top-grossing films. This is not to say that they don't have a particular stance as genre film fans, it means that they embrace talking about mass-market films and use them as a tool to contrast their genre and cult content. Their picks are intriguing and discussions are always engaging. As self-described movie geeks, their enthusiasm is appealing and contagious. As a crew, there is always fun and respect that creates a flow and harmony to the discussions and you get the sense that they all truly enjoy talking about movies together.
