The good ones stick around!
Movie Meltdown is hands down one of the highest quality movie podcasts I have had the pleasure of finding! I have been listening since 2009 and have gotten behind a few times, but love the show enough to backtrack and listen IN ORDER until I catch up again. “OK” for mixed for audiences. They delve into some adult themes often, but it never is crass or offensive. I feel very comfortable playing them around youth or family and friends. They have some AMAZING GUESTS (from very ‘lesser knowns,’ to the likes of Orlando Jones and Joanna Cassidy) and the interviews are always fulfilling and very professionally handled. Many times the guests even review a movie with them. Now, even though they have been nominated by some podcast awards programs, I am not saying they are Entertainment Weekly or 60 Minutes, but that’s what makes them better. They remind you of what it’s like to sit with friends and bull crap about the latest movies and movie news. So, if you have thought of taking on a movie podcast you should give these guys a run. Some of you will never put them down.

I'll be checking out earlier episodes and be looking forward to...Read full review »

the host does know his films and even thigh I'm not a big fan of some of the breaks or musical interludes, they certainly don't take away from a fun listen. I wish I had a gang of friends I could get to watch "Night of the Lepus" without tricking them or getting them drunk first.
