“Sometimes, the podcast has a Kevin Smith, someone who clearly adores cinema and can (and wants to) talk about for hrs...then sometimes you have a Chelsea Handler, who is just there to promote her book and can’t differentiate between Brody and Quint (or an oxygen tank and a fire hydrant). Guests should know the movies they cite as life-changing, ya know? It’s still early days for this podcast, and I will continue to listen in the hopes that they book passionate cinephiles more often than not.”
