His vibrant illustrations feature candy-colored sceneries, quirky characters, and playful shapes, reflecting his positive attitude and love for silly toys. His work has been featured in various magazines, products, campaigns, installations, and large walls worldwide, with clients including Nike, The New York Times, Ikea, Samsung, and many others. Our conversation was long, so we divided it into two parts where we discussed Rick's career, his struggles in design school, working with the biggest brands, and reaching out to clients.
