Lots of drama, interesting story
This podcast is very over-dramatized (eg, she flung open the door, panting heavily and her face white as a ghost...). This story takes place in old Hollywood, so descriptions of that nature are just made up and take away from the real story which is actually quite interesting. I have also given up on Wondery podcasts because I cannot listen to any more ads for Madison Reed hair color on every one of their podcasts, every 10 minutes. Way too many ads and it breaks up my focus on the story. It also happens to be a horrible product, but that’s besides the point.

There’s a man and woman who tell the story but they share characters and it’s hard to follow. It’s like you need a visual chart of who’s who in order to follow.
