Narrative flaws
The second episode opens with the narrator traveling to Salem to meet three people, but she doesn’t say what their relevance is to the case. The characters were introduced in Episode 1, but with a week between episode releases, the audience needs to be reminded of who the characters are. So at the beginning of the episode, instead of saying “Kevin,” she should say “Kevin Franke, Mike’s youngest brother....” That’s basic storytelling. It drove me crazy because after listening to Episode 1 a week earlier, I had to wrack my brain trying to remember who these people are. The story is interesting but the production needs more attention to detail.
