“Everyone who grew up in Florida in the late 70’s along any coastal community knows someone or knew of someone who was smuggling one thing or another back then.
The stories were a lot more “romantic” before the cartels arrived. It was primarily a “good old boy” network made up mostly of commercial fishermen. At least that’s how it was on the west coast of Florida.”
