Straddling the fence here….
The podcast is good I came here looking for more crimes in the African American community as they aren’t really mainstream media topics. However it just seems like the episodes are redundant the boyfriend/girlfriend did it or the husband/wife did it. The cases all start to seem very cliche and you can pretty much figure out the plot within the first few minutes. There are other crimes besides domestic violence offenses which seems to be the main focus of these cases. Was hoping more material would be covered on the mounting list of black serial killers that many people don’t know about. Also in some episodes it seems less like dialogue more like it’s being read directly off paper. Sometimes with unintentional repeating or rereading of what was just stated 15 seconds prior. And often you can hear the rustle of paper in the background as if to turn the page or move the previous page out of the way. It’s almost like there isn’t much editing of proofing done before publishing the episodes. These ladies have great voices that keep your attention just wish they saw the potential of their podcast and shifted the focus on other areas other than domestic violence related homicides.

I listen to so many true crime podcasts but there’s something different and cool about yours. Maybe it’s that I can relate to your personal life or the fact that your voice is so easy to listen to. I’m binging now and going to be bummed when done. Keep up the good work!
