Captivating but...
Just like the previous reviewer: if it wasn’t for the captivating subject and all the recordings of trials and so forth, I also almost stopped listening because of the narrators way of telling the story. Évery sentence ending in the same tone; I found it véry annoying. Besides that: absolutely great!!

This has been a great listen. However, as someone who has lived my whole life in Georgia, it’s extremely annoying to see our whole state being painted as a joke, corrupt, and racist. I understand some of the facts, but it is continually painted that way for the whole state.

The hosts of this podcast, Jordan and Liliana, take a careful deep-dive into a story that’s otherwise vanished from national coverage. They’re very eloquent and center people in their narrative. Can’t wait for the rest of the episodes, and I certainly hope that there will be a part 2!

This podcast invests hardly any time convincing the listener that the convicted man is innocent throughout 5 whole episodes. This is something we’re just supposed to accept.
