Description
For 17 years the FIDM Museum & Galleries has celebrated the incredible talent of Costume Designers in the film industry through the Art of Motion Picture Costume Design exhibition. This year's exhibition featured original costumes from more than 20 top films of 2008, including The Dark Knight, Changeling, and Academy Award® Winner for Best Costume Design, The Duchess. With the help of the Costume Designers Guild, we salute these multifaceted artists for the meticulous research, skill, and care that goes into making every costume, and for the enormous contribution that Costume Design makes to the movie business.
