An absolutely brilliant podcast
We are constantly bombarded with marketing on YouTube with gear reviews and latest plugin offers in a never ending stream of promotional emails and here is an island of pure excellence in music production. Brian as a host of various talented musicians and producers is an empathetic voice who has a diverse experience as a teacher, garage band member and electronic Ableton musician. Brian literally takes the stress out of being a musician pulling from his experience to go deep in any direction with his hosts. This podcast I find relaxing, entertaining and informative on anything related to music. This is not your “gearfest” promo reel it is produced with heart and the real love for the creation and the experience we all have on our sometimes lonely journeys as musicians. Brian please know that you have made a huge impact on my journey with this podcast and inspired me to do Jamuary 2024 which is a new concept and improving my craft everyday. This is a brilliant podcast make no mistake.

I want to like this podcast but the host is so low energy and leaves so much awkward silence and "um...." when he says something that is not a question but you can tell he expects the guest to start talking unprompted like dude it's your show you gotta keep it moving.Read full review »

Thoughtful, articulate, and wholly engaging, the host imparts practical wisdom gleaned from his and other's life experiences that will surely strike a chord (ahem) with anyone engaged in the creative process. Very inspiring!Read full review »
