“I was nervous to start this podcast years ago because I didn’t really understand the concept and thought I wouldn’t get how true crime and comedy could work. Glad to say I was wrong! They have a wonderful way of taking the hardest things in this world and presenting it in a factual way that also has just enough humor to keep it from getting too dark. I also appreciate that they are staying true to their convictions and beliefs even though a small portion of fans want them to stop saying anything negative about politics or flawed belief systems. I know it can be hard to keep speaking out about what you believe is right when your fan base can turn on you for it and I just want you to know that the true fans will stick with you and are here exactly FOR your takes as strong, independent, inclusive, compassionate, educated women. I feel so safe in this space and I would encourage people that feel “attacked” by their political statements to really sit with it and examine why you would feel attacked by them saying things like “stop genocide” or “we have to vote to stop our rights being stripped away”. Regardless, I am so thankful for the podcast and have Ben sharing it with friends and family because it’s a quality true crime podcast from a couple of quality gals. PS- I really enjoy the dark history stories and would also be interested in more international true crime! Just a thought! Thanks for all y’all do!”
