In this episode I sit down with my friend Jan Hippchen. Jan is a Germany-based designer and photographer with ±20 years experience. He started his career as a product designer, spent a few years in a packaging design agency, then ran his own agency dejong for two years before he rejoined PUMA in 2015. Over the last couple of years he has founded and shaped the Brand Design Team at PUMA which he heads up today. Beside design i.e. work his biggest passions are traveling and photography – ideally the combination of both. The Covid-19 travel restrictions forced him to find a new subject for his photography and he rediscovered his childhood passion: birds. The result is his book I LIKE BIRDS which isn’t his first book, but the first that has been published.
