Listen now
Description
Today, we will be talking about raising children with special needs but more specifically about Autism. When I started this podcast I was only thinking of how hard it is raising kids in a different culture and country, but I didn’t realize that  there are parents living the international life with children that have special needs. Talk about double whammy on the difficulty factor.  We have some superhero moms and dads out there, not only living abroad but in their home country raising their kids that have autism or have special needs. You guys are amazing and shout out to you all!!! You all are great parents!!!  On Today’s episode, I have Therese Christensen, an international mom from the Philippines. Her husband is danish/filipino and they have 1 son together, named Fredrik.  They are living in Denmark AND Frederik has Autism.  We will be discussing with Therese about her life in Denmark with her family, and raising her son with Autism. She also wrote a children’s book along with her son that can build awareness for other parents and people out in the world.
