Isolation 6
Listen now
Description
In this episode I chat with Eimear Morrissey, actor, voiceover artist and facilitator - working with young people through theatre/drama. Emer is best known for her role as Tracey Rooney in the RTE2 comedy drama Damo & Ivor, and also the movie. Eimear shares with us how COVID19 is effecting the Arts world, how it is impacting her work and how artists are creating art in new and exciting ways in isolation. She lovingly remembers her Grandmother who sadly passed away at the beginning of the lockdown and what loving and losing her has taught her. Personally I had a few "lightbulb" moments during our chat as Eimear talks with such a sense of self awareness and kindness that she gave me pause for thought. We chatted about being single in isolation and I crushed her hope of meeting someone anytime soon. Sorry, girl! We laughed a lot! I always try to keep my podcasts to 45 mins. This one is a full hour long but I promise you it is worth it. I could have stayed chatting with Eimear for hours. Enjoy!
