Description
In this episode I speak with Cathy Moore, Look Good Feel Better Ireland Ambassador. Look Good Feel Better Ireland is a charity organisation that offers free skincare/make-up workshops for people undergoing cancer treatment. Cathy shares with us her journey with breast cancer and how Look Good Feel Better gave her a sense of purpose and helped her feel connected to herself and to others as she navigated her way through treatment. We spoke about how we all deal with our diagnosis in different ways and what supports are there for anyone who finds themselves in this challenging situation. Cathy is a laughter yoga teacher which I loved hearing all about and she brings us through a short laughter exercise which instantly made me feel better. Cathy is a breath of fresh air. Her joie de vivre is infectious and she left me feeling that even though bad things happen to us their is always light at the end of the tunnel if we choose to look for it. Enjoy x
