Not Too Sure About This One
The show description says there’s something for the believer and the sceptic alike. Admittedly I’ve only listened to one episode so far- the one on ouija boards- but I’d have to say this was definitely one for the believers. It goes into the history of similar boards in antiquity. It goes into the scariest alleged demonic possession cases caused by playing with ouija boards it could find, too. Lots of religion in this episode, which I’m sure goes down well in the US where half the population believe the Earth is less than 10 000 years old, but I’m not American. Yes, the episode mentions the famous debunking of ouija boards in the last five minutes of an hour long episode, when the test subjects were blindfolded ( and the board layout was completely changed, which the episode didn’t mention), but it immediately doubled down on the believers side again- wandering off into a discussion of whether or not playing with a ouija board gave spirits/demons permission to mess with you and push your fingers on the planchette. I’m listening to the Neanderthal one now and I’ll give it a few more episodes, but I suspect I’ll be giving anything that can be considered supernatural a miss.

Absolutely love this Podcast, I love the tangents, the details and most of all the chemistry. Like Molder and Scully but with more chaotic energy

The show is WAY better when Brenna is sick or doing whatever else it is she does when she can’t be bothered to do the show. Should just have Steve on all the time. Way better that way.
