“Great insight into the books. Maybe not everybody’s cup of tea cause it’s more of a lecture series so the way he talks isn’t like a polished podcast.
But, I mean, I love the immense details this lecture series goes through.
And yeah it’s not even meant to be a post cast, so not liking it because it’s not podcasty, isn’t even a good criticism.
I for one am grateful we’re able to hear this lecture series on this podcast app.”

“The host knows his Tolkien. No question. He’s a wealth of knowledge.
But he also has distracting habits that make this a difficult listen. There are a lot of filler words and sounds, especially “um” and “good, good,” and while we all do that sort of thing from time to time, he does it to a fault.”
