“Ok. I’m not joking when I say I spent maybe an hour looking through the reviews on this to make sure the 5.0 stars wasn’t a joke.
I am THRILLED by the result.
So many people love this podcast! There’s even a kid who’s been listening to this since they were eight. It takes a brilliant performance and podcast to do such a thing.
Now, I haven’t listened to EVERY episode, so I don’t know much about that PC stuff or whatever. So, I won’t comment on that.
But, as a fifteen year old girl who is OBSESSED with Myths and Legends, so far, I have found that the information in this podcast is accurate, and the true tellings behind Disney Movies *cough, Aladdin, cough cough, Ariel* are much more interesting than Disney. Cause, honestly, I hate Disney. They ruined some very good fairy tales... and Pocahontas just failed at correct historical information.
I have searched podcasts for correct information on their Mythology retelling, but I have barely found any rated so well as this one. Usually, they’re 4.5 or barely have any rates. But, hearing the first episode, I came across the conclusion that this podcast has earned 5 stars will all the 19k rates it has. Correct information in a intriguing format. I especially loved the retelling of Thor becoming a bride— that has always been a story I’ve enjoyed, but rarely hear.
The humor in this makes me think so much of my favorite Myth-fiction story teller, Rick Riordan, especially with the names of the episodes. There is no doubt that this is funny and witty, though a few times it does seem Jason is trying to be funny.
Back on track. So far, I love this podcast. Many people love it, the information is accurate, and the humor seems almost natural, not forced to make the audience laugh. Please, continue.”
