“The review title says it all - PURE. What does that mean? Well, when you listen to an episode of Nastygram what you are doing is embarking upon a session that puts you right at the table with the troupe. It’s not produced like an audio drama, and it’s not completely lost in rules discussions, but rather it’s an experience in which you feel like you are playing the game, participating in the story, and also enjoying some time with good friends. In that it is a pure role-playing experience. Now don’t get mixed up - the audio quality is solid, and the editing is sharp. Clearly a good product is on the mind during the recording, but that is where it’s concern for the outside world ends - like good escapism should. Pull up a chair, grab some dice, and fall into a world built on that incredible feeling of disappearing from the outside world for a little while with your friends and some awesome adventures. (Disclaimer: I frequently appear on the show, so this may not be totally objective, but what review is...?)
