  Washington Nationals’ third baseman Anthony Rendon went 6 for 6 with three home runs and 10 RBIs in a 23-5 win over the New York Mets today in D.C. The Nationals dropped the first two games of the three-game set in D.C., but made up for it in the series finale, collecting 23 hits, seven home runs and 23 runs total in a long, brutal affair in the nation's capital. Rendon (3), Matt Wieters (2), Adam Lind, and Bryce Harper all hit homers and the Nats cruised to a win, improving to 17-8 on the season
