“I didn’t hit send when I wrote this after your last show .... sending now welcome back - great show - will check out the links .... ❤️ ————————————————————- I am so sad and sorry for you and his family... I can not tell you how important these shows were / are to me , when I discovered your podcast while home during the pandemic. It literally was my only light. You both fed off each other with the back and forth laughs, facts and stories... I counted the days before each new episode. Listening with my coffee on Tuesday mornings wondering what would be the topic knowing I would hear your voices filled with love for each other and the Natural world - was so contagious. The show inspired me to not just go outside and stay awhile but to paint / write poems about nature - I never appreciated nature as much until you both taught me to really look and listen (Bob, I have a hard time with bird calls too, might take an online Cornell class) I will never forget how you both ‘saved’ me - I am not inclined to feel depressed but I felt lonely at times until you both came into my house here in NYC... during COvid confinement . I can never thank you enough and I really wished I wrote this before his passing like I always planned to do. Paying homage to him with the continuance of this show is the medicine WE all need - I am planning to use some of your episodes for educational programs. With condolences and love - your eternal FAN- Kathy❤️”
