Absolutely hooked!
I found this after Chas had turned the podcast over to another fellow who was interested in NDE’s. It didn’t take me long to opt to go back to Episode 1 and listen to Chas’ podcasts instead. (I recommend doing the same.) Chas does a fabulous, honest job of selecting testimonies from several different research organizations as well as books and interviews. His personality and commentary are honest and cheerful—he’s a guy that the normal person can relate to—-not kooky-over-the-top cosmic, but passionately curious and skeptical enough to openly categorize the questionable ones as such. He has a delightfully lovable, geeky, quirky personality that is very easy to listen to. And while Chas has been criticized for professing to be a Mormon, he goes out of his way to not let his beliefs cloud his assessments and in fact, probably lands much more non-denominational/spiritual than his church would condone. This podcast jibes with so many spiritual encounters I’ve personally experienced, but also helps me understand and have peace with my own daughter’s passing. What I’m hearing over and over again has inspired me to be a kinder, more understanding and forgiving human being.

I wish he would have disclosed his Mormon biases before the first reading. I was excited to have found this podcast but know all too well the brainwashed colors that Mormons paint things in. I know enough about NDEs to know the experience is beyond all religions.
