“Not much comprehension of pain in this one. The guy pretty much thinks everyone who comes to pain mgt is looking for opiates. That's a pretty pathetic approach. I suppose that could be his experience, and maybe being from Chicago reinforces it. Maybe it's a cultural thing at Stanford. A very painful lecture from some one who comes across as superior to his patients.”
