“This pod hits close to home for me. I was on football scholarship but also ran track at state. My agreement with Tom Reid out of Broughton high school was I would be track full time when football season was over. Then he got let go and Coach Sheridan came in. He at first wanted me to do spring, but like Russ I stayed the course with track. I never did spring training nor the spring game for football. The major difference is I was a wide out versus the quarterback. I get the struggle from both sides. However….. 🤷🏽♂️”
