“I’ll admit I was skeptical when I first hit play. “Does this world really need another video game podcast hosted by two dudes?”
Turns out yes. Heck yes it did. While there is an ocean full of shows filled with gamer dudes chatting about games all day, this is one of those pearls with real heart, chemistry (gotta love the unison overlap), cultural awareness, AND fantastic guests. Five minutes into the episode with Andrew Law, and you had my ears and my subscription. Here’s why: you guys reminded me of what I have always loved about video games. You have created a lovely place that gives me hope for a gaming culture that can mature past its toxicity and insecurity, and thrive as a friendly, inclusive environment.
Team, not to overstate things, but that opening theme is basically Song of Healing for my distressed gamer heart, only bouncier and with more blowing into dusty cartridges.”
