“The show isn’t what you expect — it’s James Austin Johnson, as the Grinch, interviewing a strange collection of people and not a reptilian of any Grinch book or movie content. The show is always charming, but it is admittedly a little slow until about the third episode. Then everyone seems to find their niche. JAJ’s Grinch reminds one more of Robin Williams than Jim Carrey but with a slightly crankier approach. It’s perfect for taking the kids on a commute and you will laugh along at some of the snarkier moments. So funny, in fact, I, an ostensible adult, listen even when there are no children around.”
