Interesting, but often US-obsessed and Sekhri can be irritating
There is a gap in the Indian podcast market for a serious news and opinion podcast and Newslaundry is it. The journalists are reasonably well informed (about Indian and US stuff but nothing else) and it’s a fairly opinionated podcast. However, Sekhri can be quite grating in his faux-accent in English, his weird hatred of cricket, his US obsession and many many things. But we should thank him for running NL atleast. Overall one of my favourite podcasts (Hafta and A&A). I wish they would talk more about Indian and non-US stuff.

More reviews of NL Hafta
Not balanced, most of the participants are from “leftist” ideology and wish there are balanced views presented, after few episodes you’ll know who is going to say what and whole discussion becomes too predictable.

Its probably only podcast in India which has content on Indian politics and journalisms . I hope they do more on issues less on meta journalisms however that is an issue in itself.

I am listening hafta for more than 5 years now. The time when it was a general round table discussion ( which I think was a best way ) to this more professional way where you have agenda. Just like hafta does not miss to publish every week I don’t miss to listen 🙌🏼. Keep it up guys.
