“There are a plethora of American Football podcasts out there. Move the Sticks offers a different perspective and Bucky & DJ provide more insightful and considered analysis than any other NFL coverage I’ve come across. A couple of ideas for off-season pods that I think would be a great listen:
1. A breakdown of how different teams use the salary cap to target and build different areas of the roster. You talked about this with WRs this free agency and draft season but it would be fascinating to learn about the philosophy of how teams approach this when team building as a whole.
2. As a UK fan, there is limited coverage of the college game over here. I would love to hear you guys explain the differences between the pro and college games and how that impacts player evaluation. Are there certain positions it matters more or less?
3. You mentioned in a previous pod about the relative strengths and weaknesses of this draft class compared to others at certain positions. It would be really interesting to hear how the prospects previous draft classes would have stacked up against previous years. For example, as a Titans fan I would love to know how Treylon Burks and AJ Brown would have stacked up in the same draft class, but I bet there are loads of other interesting comparisons.
Overall though, just keep doing what you do! Bucky and DJ: don’t get tempted to go back into front offices- you do too much good work here!”
