“First off, love the return of a hockey podcast on ESPN. The chemistry between Arda and Greg is great - they don’t take things too seriously, clearly love the game, but bring the right amount of heart to the conversation too. I like the 2x weekly format - about the right cadence for the amount of time I have to catch up on hockey. Hockey players aren’t renowned for showing personality - I love how Arda and Greg draw them out in interview (Cory Schneider one was a great example).
Couple recent highlights - Greg and Arda’s heartfelt tribute to Barry Melrose. Greg pulling back the curtain on the ESPN 100 list was awesome - not usually the behind-the-scenes looks we get on other ESPN podcasts.
It’s early and the show is still finding a groove, but I can see a ton of potential. Put this one in your sports podcast rotation!”
