In the other semi-final, Cyriel Dessers was on the scoresheet for Feyenoord as they won the 1st leg 3-2 at home against Marseille and he’s officially the competition’s top scorer. In Turkey, Anthony Nwakaeme’s Trabzonspor are officially champions for the first time in 38 years with the Nigerian forward playing a stellar role with 11 goals and 10 assists in 27 appearances this season and we’ll be seeing them in the UEFA Champions league next season! In international news, the NFF have been fined by FIFA for the crowd trouble following the Super Eagles World Cup qualifier loss to Ghana and the Super Eagles will have to play our 1st AFCON 2023 qualifier at home against Sierra Leone without any fans.
