“I have been watching NC since the beginning but the Dumb Dumb segment is what earned my unfollow. In the beginning Unk was very gracious and humble (which was not an act and I love how he supports his team), but now arrogance and stubbornness rule over. He doesn’t allow Ocho to talk, doesn’t take him seriously and side-eyes most of what comes out of his mouth if Ocho doesn’t agree. Unk is stats and facts; Ocho is about family, love, and people, and Ocho’s gifts have not been highlighted. He could discuss the positive things that players (majority Black and Brown) are doing (go through their SM accounts). There are enough platforms that disregard the human side of players, and Ocho would genuinely flourish in giving players and their families’ flowers. It seems as if Ocho has been silenced about things that make Unk uncomfortable (dating & dogs sleeping in the bed). It seems as if Unk can’t eat real criticism (him refusing to discuss RC’s dating comment). Telling old stories (which I enjoy) won’t last long, and Dumb Dumb of the day is not it. Give us new personal stories; recent lessons learned. Shannon should go on dates and tell us about all the time he spends with his kids and grandkids (since he missed certain opportunities with his kids when they were young because he was grinding to achieve the success he has obtained), which represents personal growth. This will keep him from coming off as a stubborn, old mule, balance out the misogyny on the show, and 100% keep the female viewers coming (who tend to purchase more merchandise). Also, more content doesn’t equate to better. Allow us (the viewers) to miss you. Cut it to an hour and create more structure.”
