“Sadly I have to announce that I lost my tortie to cancer. Started in the mammary gland and spread to lungs. After a few weeks I adopted a cute female orange and white tabby kitten.
She’s 9 months and I’ve had her for almost a month.
She still doesn’t recognize her name and I use it all the time. She also attacks my feet at night.
She sneezes a lot and when I mentioned it to the vet she asked what the temp is in my house and said that @ 74 degrees she should be fine.
However she has the body size of a 6 month old. Should I do something different?
How can I get her to leave my feet alone and do I need to reward her for doing the things I want including responding to her name?
I haven’t had a kitten before. Kim was already an adult.”
