“The “Known Unknowns” series on Watergate is entertaining but clearly isn’t entirely factual (this is, after all, the Nixon Library’s and the late president’s defense team account of the “third-rate burglary,” so that’s to be expected.) But Geoff Shepard is presented as an incontrovertible expert when he still is clearly favoring the disgraced president. Take what he says with a very large grain of salt. To paraphrase Nixon himself, if the presidential library does it, it must be correct.”
