I love listening to these podcasts, plus question
Hi Tom. Great to hear that you are back. I’m a lister in Australia. You have helped me so much with my reactive dog and helped us to improve our recall to. Because I’m an apprentice I struggle with money and being able to pay for a personal trainer which is why I love these podcast and yt videos. I’m planning on buying one your online course soon which I’m so excited about. I do have one question, I’m at a point and I’m starting to believe my slip lead isn’t enough to get my dog attention and isn’t working out as well when correcting. I was watching one of your yt videos about using different tools for different dogs. Which I understand 100% from all my training with horses which I work with Arabians, the smartest and “troubled” ones. Prong collars aren’t allowed in some states in Australia which if I could get a prong I would try it but can’t, do you think I should buy e collar? Or is there any other tools that I could use instead of a slip lead and Martingale? Just to be able to get her attention when she is reacting to dogs. I also want to start doing off leash training once she has improved her recall and I’m 100% sure that she is with me. She is my first dog, but I’m using a lot of training from horses on her which seems to be working. I’m just looking for the next step up Also I really do love your podcasts one of the best dog podcast I’ve found, and thank you for all these informative videos and podcast

I’ve run out of older episodes so I’m UTD now and I’ve been loving hearing the episodes real time...Read full review »

I just discovered this podcast this week and have already learned so much about dog behavior and dynamics from Tom. Listening to Tom has helped me feel less shame about my dog’s reactivity and her tendency to not get along with other dogs. Thank you for sharing your teachings with everyone!
