“Hey Tom,
Thanks so much for all your videos, podcasts I’ve enjoyed watching and listening to them and have helped me so much.
I found your videos when I needed help with my Aussie shepherd who wasn’t good with other dogs, when going for walks he would lunge out and bark at them. He never had any bad introductions with other dogs just when he hit 2 he show a lot of dominance towards dogs. Therefore for about 4years we would avoid others dogs till I found your videos! I changed to a slip lead and follow the same technique and WOW he instantly changed I was able to take him to a big dog walking event and he walked by my side focused on me. Was a great feeling! unfortunately he past away suddenly last year but I’m so glad I was able to get to the bottom of why he was doing what he was doing.
We also have 2 other dogs a husky and standard poodle. We have been very lucky that all our dogs have been pretty easy.
My question is my standard poodle is extreme fussy with her food. She has always been from day dot. I know I didn’t help in the beginning because, I changed her food every time she went off it.
I changed to raw food 2 years ago and love it, notice a huge difference and she been fine on it. Till now, the last 3months she just deciding she doesn’t want to eat it. She will just sit in-front of her bowl for hours. I tried taking it away and offering it later and same thing. She went 5days without eating, i then changed the flavour and that got her to eat it for a week. Now she’s eating half the amount that she should be eating.
I live in Victoria - Australia and it’s summer now, it has been very hot recently would the heat have something to do with it?
Do you have any other tips?
Thanks for your help.”
